Gerald Gibson and Ray Johnson invited to participate in selective Warner Bros. Media Lab

Communications assistant professors Gerald Gibson and Ray Johnson will be among 20 other Broadcast Education Association faculty members from across the country to participate in the selective two-day Warner Bros. Media Lab July 14-15 in Burbank, Calif.

Gibson and Johnson, both members of BEA, were invited to participate in the lab, which will provide insight into how consumers engage content and offer best practices for marketing television shows online. Featured speakers include Bruce Rosenblum, the president of WB Television Group, Ken Werner, the president of WB Domestic Distribution, Susan Kantor, the senior vice president of WB Marketing, and Harvey Levin, the creater of producer of “TMZ.”

The program was created by the Warner Bros. Research & Insights department, a creator, producer and distributor of content across a wide spectrum of platforms. In addition to the lab, the participants will also get a tour of Warner Bros. Studios.
