Gabrielle Dean’s documentary “Human Trafficking” looks at human trafficking in Alamance County and how law enforcement officials and others are working to persuade people to report it. The description of the film also says, “Some people who are undocumented are caught up in the trafficking but are afraid to say anything for fear of deportation.”

Tyler West’s documentary “SPLASH” features a Spanish immersion program that’s taught in the Alamance-Burlington School System. The description of the film also says, “SPLASH is taught by a teacher who speaks and teaches Spanish and the students participating in this program are fully immersed in Spanish for much of the school day.”

Both documentaries were produced in conjunction with elondocs, the documentary filmmaking program in the School of Communications.
