Barry Bradberry, associate dean of admissions and financial planning at Elon University, was honored this month with the 2011 Chowan University Distinguished Alumni Award.
Sponsored by the Chowan University Alumni Association, the award recognized Bradberry’s “exceptional personal demeanor and his professional achievements representing the highest standards of the Chowan University Alumni Body.” Chowan is in northeastern North Carolina near Roanoke Rapids.
Bradberry received an associate’s degree from Chowan in 1973 before earning a bachelor’s degree from Elon University two years later. He went on to receive his master’s degree in higher education administration from UNC Greensboro.
