Darris Means ’05 receives research grant

Darris Means was recognized Oct. 28 as the first recipient of a research grant from North Carolina College Personnel Association.

He received funding for his research study titled “Black in the Rainbow? A Study on the Experiences of Black Gay Male Students at Historically Black Colleges and Universities.” He is conducting the study as a student at North Carolina State University; he is currently a graduate student pursuing his Ph.D. in Educational Research and Policy Analysis with a concentration in higher education.
