Dancing at Lughnasa and Whale Music: Nov. 17-20

The BFA Acting Class of 2012 presents…

Dancing at Lughnasa by Brian Friel – the story of five Irish sisters in County Donegal, Ireland during the summer of 1936, told through the memories of the son of one of the sisters. Filled with dance, song and laughter the story depicts some of the last happiest moments in the family’s lives before change begins.

Nov. 17 at 6:30 p.m., Nov.18 at 3:30 p.m., Nov. 19 at 7:30 p.m. in the Black Box Theatre in the Center for the Arts – admission is free and available at the door.

Whale Music by Anthony Minghella – this all female show depicts Caroline as she returns home to make a difficult decision with support of old and new friends, set in Liverpool, England. A comedy about the relationships of women.

Nov. 18 at 7:30 p.m., Nov. 19 at 2 p.m., Nov. 20 at 2 p.m. in the Black Box Theatre in the Center for the Arts – admission is free and available at the door.
