Faculty conversations about inclusive pedagogies

Dec. 8 - Workshop 4:00 - 5:30 p.m. - Belk Pavilion 208

Facilitated by Professors Carlton Floyd and Carole Huston, University of San Diego

Participants do not need to be experts in inclusive pedagogies; instead, participating faculty simply need to be willing, even eager, to work on and to talk with colleagues about inclusive pedagogies. Since our disciplines vary, approaches to diversity and inclusive pedagogies also differ across the disciplines, making peer-to-peer and disciplinary conversations essential.

This workshop will be facilitated by Professors Carlton Floyd and Carole Huston, both of the University of San Diego.

Carole Huston is Professor of Communication Studies and the Associate Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences, and former director of both the Center for Educational Excellence and the Gender Studies program;

Carlton Floyd is Professor of English, Co-Director of the Center for Inclusion and Diversity, and Associate Provost for Inclusion and Diversity. Please RSVP to this workshop by emailing Peter Felten by Monday, December 5.
