Colonnades Art and Literary Journal is seeking art submissions for issue 63, The Noise and Heat of Being. Colonnades is a nationally recognized publication, having won the National Pacemaker Award from the Associated Collegiate Press in 2010 (the nation’s highest honor in undergraduate publications). Submissions to Colonnades are free, so this is a great opportunity for you to have your artwork published in a top-notch journal.
Artwork of any medium is acceptable, but because it is a printed publication, some artworks will need to be hosted online. Videos will be represented by a still image alongside a URL where viewers can find the work in its entirety. Physical works must be photographed, and high quality photographs are necessary (300 dpi, white background) for publication. Selection of artwork will be based on both skill and subject matter, as Colonnades hopes to publish the best that Elon has to offer. Additionally, artwork that deals with the theme (The Noise and Heat of Being) will be favored. Artists are free to interpret the theme as they see fit.
