The School of Communications will host four of its alumni in a panel discussion titled “How to Win Friends and Influence Your Career” at 1:40 p.m. Monday, Feb. 13 in McEwen 011. The alumni will discuss how they landed their first jobs and how to network. They will also answer audience questions about the job search and other career issues.
The alumni are:
- Stephen Herbster ’03 – Video Editor at the Carolina Panthers (Charlotte, N.C.)
- Maggie Landy ‘10 – Field Publicity and Promotions Assistant at Fox Searchlight Pictures (New York)
- Alexa Milan ’10 – Education and Features Reporter at the Sanford Herald (Sanford, N.C.)
- Bettina Johnson ’06, ‘11 (iMedia) – Digital Editor and Online Community Manager at Pace Communications (Greensboro, N.C.)
