Elon Law Clinical Practitioner in Residence for the Humanitarian Immigration Law Clinic, Heather Scavone spoke on March 6 at the Nebraska law school's conference on "Effective Representation of Asylees and Refugees."
Scavone presented on the following topics at the conference:
- Evidentiary Challenges with Asylee/ Refugee Relative Petitions
- Preparing Waivers on Behalf of Refugees and Asylees,
- Plenary Panel: Family Reunification for Refugees and Asylees.
