Paula Patch presents at Conference on College Composition and Communication

Paula Patch, lecturer in English and coordinator of College Writing, made a presentation titled "Fluid Boundaries: Creating a Meaningful Assessment of a Basic Writing Workshop" at the Conference on College Composition and Communication in St. Louis on March 22, 2012.

She discussed the programmatic implications of revising the assessment ENG 100: Supplemental Writing Workshop to better reflect the teaching and learning that takes place in the course. In her presentation, she explained how the ENG 100 faculty were involved in revising the assessment and how this involvement created a teaching and research community centered on ensuring student success in the course.
