A new CD release on the Ablaze label features assistant professor of music, Omri Shimron (piano), on a new work by composer David Lipten.
The work, Whorl, for violin, clarinet, and piano, was recorded at Arizona State University in August 2010. The CD, titled Best Served Cold, features a retrospective array of works by Lipten for various mediums (choral, solo, and instrumental chamber music).
