Bixby publishes article

Dr. Walter Bixby, assistant professor of exercise science, recently published a paper entitled “Affect Responses to Acute Bouts of Aerobic Exercise in Fit and Unfit Participants: An Examination of Opponent-Process Theory” in the Journal of Sport Behavior (Vol. 29, No. 2).

This research was done collaboratively with Dr. Marc Lochbaum of Texas Tech University. This study describes how an individual’s fitness may interact with psychological mechanisms to potentially explain how an individual feels during and after exercise.
