Students in the Elon in Los Angeles program will have the opportunity to spend the day at Venice Beach Saturday, June 30.
Venice Beach boasts the beach, the promenade that runs parallel to the beach (“Ocean Front Walk” or just “the boardwalk”), Muscle Beach, the handball courts, the paddle tennis courts, Skate Dancing plaza, the numerous beach volleyball courts, the bike trail and the businesses and residences that have their addresses on Ocean Front Walk.
Directions to the beach are as follows:
- Take 101 N toward Ventura Freeway
- Take exit 19A to merge onto I-405 S toward Santa Monica
- Take exit 53 toward I-10 Santa Monica
- Merge onto I-10W
- Take exit 1A for 4th St./5th St.
- Keep left at the fork, follow signs for 4th St.
- Turn right onto Pico Blvd.
- Turn left onto Neilson Way, continue onto Pacific
