Understanding the Hajj – Jan. 15

The Muslim Student Association and the Truitt Center for Religious and Spiritual Life brings you this experiential explanation of one of the pillars of Islam.

The event is at 5 p.m. Jan. 15 in McKinnon Hall.

The Hajj is the Islamic pilgrimage to Mecca, Saudi Arabia. It is a religious duty that must be carried out at least once by every able-bodied Muslim, who can afford to do so, as a demonstration of the solidarity of the Muslim people and their submission to God. Come learn about the Hajj, what it means, and why it is a key aspect of Islam.
