The Elon University Student Professional Development Center is excited to announce the second year of bridges to NYC/LA. bridges is a 9-week program that runs from early June through early August for recent graduates interested in launching their careers in New York City or Los Angeles.
As a part of the program, recent graduates participating will:
• Live in apartment-style housing in Los Angeles or New York City for the duration of the program
• Participate in a week-long intensive seminar series focused on job search strategies, personal finance skills, relocation information and alumni and professional networking
• Connect with alumni mentors who can ease the personal and professional transition to life in the city
• Have scheduled and on-request individual career advising services with an on-site Career Advisor to assist them with their job search
Participants will also have the opportunity to participate in scheduled events such as tours of the city, museums, show tapings, movie nights, and sporting events to help them acclimate to the city and become part of their new community. bridges is open to recent graduates from ALL majors and will run from June 1, 2013 until August 3, 2013.
