Innocence Project Panel Discussion – Feb. 27

Belk Library is co-sponsoring The Innocence Project panel discussion, part of the Alamance Reads program of the Alamance County Public Libraries. The 2012-2013 Alamance Reads’ book selection is To Kill a Mockingbird.

Panel participants include: Ronald Cotton, accused of rape but later cleared; Jennifer Thompson-Cannino, who mistakenly identified Mr. Cotton as the culprit; and Tom Lambeth, one of the lawyers that worked to secure Mr. Cotton’s release.

The discussion will focus on the Ronald Cotton case and how it compares to the rape trial of To Kill a Mockingbird.
