The article, Game Changer: A Conversation with Composer Laura Karpman, is on the 12-time nominee and four-time winner of an Emmy. A few of the many other awards Karpman has been given include those by the Game Audio Network Guild (G.A.N.G.) for her composing the music to the MMORPG Everquest II and for work with Kinect Disneyland Adventures, a BMI Film & TV Award for her scoring of the 20-hour Steven Spielberg mini-series Taken, the American Academy of Arts and Letters Charles Ives Award, and the Alexander Gretchaninoff Memorial Prize in Composition, and multiple ASCAP Composer awards.
