Students may apply for several open positions on the Pendulum staff.
Elon University’s daily student news organization, The Pendulum, is seeking applicants for next year’s fall semester staff. Applicants should complete the application available HERE and online at http://www.elonpendulum.com/apply/ and submit it along with a resume, relevant work samples and the names of two Elon University faculty or staff references by 5 p.m. Monday, May 6.
Available positions include Opinions Editor, Multimedia Editor, Copy Editor, Design Editor, Public Relations Director, Public Relations Representative, Arts & Entertainment Senior Reporter and Multimedia Intern. There are also multiple positions available for Senior Reporters in News and Sports, Sales Associates and Staff Photographers. This is a great opportunity for students with a wide variety of interests to get involved and gain work experience by contributing their skills to the atmosphere of their college campus.
The Pendulum is Elon University’s student-run news organization. It consists of a biweekly print edition distributed on Wednesdays and an online website that is updated daily. The Pendulum also publishes a quarterly general-interest magazine called The Edge and a web show, The Swing, which showcases a series of videos on special-interest features.
