The first-year summer experience program offered by the Office of New Student Programs and Transition familiarizes incoming students with Elon's campus and helps them develop leadership and team-building skills before classes begin in the fall.

Elon Law alumnus Collin Cooper L’12 was recently named Associate Editor of The Young Lawyer, a publication of the Young Lawyers Division (YLD) of the American Bar Association (ABA), as well as an ABA YLD Scholar for 2013-2014.

Students will enjoy two new on-campus dining options for the upcoming academic year.

David M. Crowe, professor of legal history at Elon Law and professor of history at Elon University, presented scholarship at the Southern Conference on Slavic Studies and the annual convention of the Association for the Study of Nationalities.

Evan A. Gatti, associate professor of art history, presented "Episcopus 'al Fresco': Episcopal Imagery in the Painted Programs of North Italy at the turn of the Millennium" at the International Medieval Congress in Leeds, England on July 3, 2013.
