There are many exciting events scheduled at Elon Law during National Pro Bono Celebration Week. Some of the events include, but are not limited to:

Ask a Lawyer Walk-in Help Day-October 19: This is a great way for students to earn a few pro bono hours while interacting with attorneys and those in need. The event will be held at Elon Law on October 19, from 10:00am-2:00pm. Law student volunteers are being sought for this event. If you would like to volunteer for a shift, or for the full day, please submit your sign up to Daniel Dziuban.

Pro Bono Public Interest Fair-October 21: There will be a pro bono/public interest fair on Monday, October 21, in the Commons from 11:30-1:00pm. Pro Bono and Public Interest partners and organizations from around the region will be in attendance to meet and network with students.

From the Client’s Perspective Breakfast, October 22: Held from 8:00-9:00am, law students will be treated to breakfast while they hear the moving story of an individual who benefited from Elon Law student pro bono service.

Dessert, Dollars and Sense: Debt Relief Through Public Service– October 23: Join Elon’s own Lynette Lorenzetti from 12:00-1:00pm for dessert, while she demonstrates the ways student loan debt can be relieved though pro bono and public interest work.

More events will be noted here in the weeks ahead.
