How much do you move each day? What’s your average heart rate? How far did you jog this morning? These simple metrics can tell you a lot about your health and fitness levels, and they’re easier than ever to track with nothing more than your smartphone.

It doesn’t matter if you’re building new fitness habits, or already have yours up and running (pun intended). This session will introduce you to simple technologies that effortlessly remember all the work you’re doing to lead a healthier lifestyle. We’ll look at a popular fitness tracking device that you can discretely wear all day. We’ll also explore several iOS and Android apps that will let you do things like use GPS tracking to record a run, or accurately measure your heart rate with your smartphone camera.
