Anyone who is interested in learning more about dealing with conflict is invited to attend. This session will be held in conjunction with the Joining Elon Continuity Series because we have had so many requests for this topic. It will still be an introduction to “Conflict Competence” by Dr. Karen Jo Shapiro, and there will be an overview of conflict dynamics.
Suggestions will be provided for both enhancing constructive responses and for preventing destructive responses to conflict. It will also be an opportunity to meet your colleagues who have been at Elon for less than a year. A buffet lunch will be provided for those who register.
