From the Daily Tar Heel (4/5/13): A year and a half is a long time to wait for most things, but especially something that the state of North Carolina requires be given to you quickly.

The Fire of the Carolinas has announced its 2013 Leadership Team. These students represent different majors from across the Elon campus from different class groups, and are the main group that perpare the Elon Marching Band for the fall season. They are highly active with the band and help to make sure the Fire of the Carolinas is perpared each season.

DPT students (Year III/final year) will be evaluating people who have musculoskeletal problems every Tuesday and Thursday, from 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 4 p.m. in the Gerald Francis Center.

Elon University senior Erica Schenhals has researched the effect oxytocin has on immune cells and breast cancer cells.

Matthew Antonio Bosch currently directs GLBTA programs at the University of Minnesota.

Shifts are open to students from Friday, April 5, through Tuesday, April 9.

David Wasserman will join the Politics Forum on April 16 at 4:30 p.m. to discuss "What Really Happened in 2012..."

Join us in the Oak Room, Moseley Center, on April 11 at 5 p.m.

The annual program raises awareness among students that donors help cover many expenses that come with studying at Elon University.
