Hayley Sherman and John Boschini won the final round of the Sixth Annual Elon Law Intramural Moot Court Competition held on September 30. Genna Petre and Bree Shadrick were the first-runner up team. Shadrick was also named “Best Oralist from the Final Round,” and Michael Costolo was named “Best Oralist from the Preliminary Rounds.”  The team of Katie Lester and Mark Henkle took “Best Brief” honors.

When a student in an all-girls school spreads a rumor about two teachers, local society must determine the truth decide how to respond. The show opens Oct. 3 in the Black Box Theatre. Admission is $12 or free with an Elon ID.

A four-day event organized by the university’s Center for Engaged Learning has drawn to North Carolina hundreds of scholars from around the world with an interest in the “disruptive forces” that are changing the way students learn.

The Doherty Center offers scholarships for students interested in entrepreneurship, sponsors a speaker series, and awards the Elon University Medal for Entrepreneurial Leadership to business leaders who epitomize the values of the university.
