Join fellow Boston alumni, friends and family on April 5 as we partner with the Heading Home shelter for our service project.
Join Elon’s Boston Alumni chapter on Saturday, April 5 from 9 a.m. – noon to work at a shelter for Heading Home. During this service project, alumni will be working in the yard of the Susan Duley house which is a permanent, supported living shelter for single women in Cambridge.
The Boston Alumni team will help beautify the Duley House backyard together. All Alumni and their familes are welcome to join! Here is a list of the ways we will be doing service:
- Rake leaves
- Plant flowers
- Mulch
- Set up potted plants on the front and back porches
- Plant an herb and small vegetable garden (Residents would then learn how to care for the garden!)
- Decorate and paint a picnic table
