Sunshine Day 2014 Information

Sunshine Day 2014 will be held on Monday, March 17 on the campus of Elon University. Check here for information about late registration, parking and finding the Lakeside conference rooms on campus

 

Late registrationIf you missed Monday’s registration deadline but would still like to attend, we may be able to accommodate you. Please contact Jonathan Jones at jjones86@elon.edu to inquire about late registration. 

Getting to campus and parking:

From Raleigh/Durham: Take Exit 141 of I-40/85 for Huffman Mill Road and turn right at the end of the exit ramp. Make an immediate left at the first light for Garden Road. At the third light, make a right onto St. Mark’s Church Road. This will become Williamson Avenue in Elon. After you reach campus and cross Haggard Avenue, turn left onto Elon Commons Drive parking is available in the adjacent parking lot at The Oaks residence halls. Additional parking is available at the Moseley Center 

From Greensboro/Charlotte: Take Exit 140 of I-40/85 for University Drive and turn left at the end of the ramp. Turn right onto N. Williamson Ave/Shallowford Church Road. Turn right onto Elon Commons Drive parking is available in the adjacent parking lot at The Oaks residence halls. Additional parking is available at the Moseley Center

Parking: Visitor parking is available at The Oaks residence halls (use Elon Commons Drive, Elon in your GPS) and at The Moseley Center (use 399 N. O’Kelly Ave, Elon in your GPS). There also may be additional space at Elon Community Church (271 N. Williamson Ave, Elon) if both of those lots are full. If you park at the church please stay in the section marked for Elon faculty and staff. 

Finding Lakeside:

The Lakeside conference rooms are on the second floor of Lakeside Dining Hall in the Moseley Center. From The Oaks parking lot, you’ll walk across Williamson Avenue and between the Center for the Arts and the Koury Center. Lakeside will be the first entrance to the Moseley Center on your left. From the Moseley Center parking lot you will come through the Moseley Center to the opposite side of the building from the parking lot. You can see a campus map here.
