On Sunday, September 19th, the women's club soccer team took on a very competitive UNCG squad at the Harden South Campus fields.
The team was very eager to take on their aggressive opponents, coming out energized and scoring first off of a great long ball served by sophomore Erin O’Leary. At halftime, the team discussed strategy to ensure scoring a few more goals to really solidify the win. Unfortunately, the UNCG squad entered the second half just as determined to win, scoring two goals to finalize the score at 2-1. Nonetheless, the spirited Elon team was excited to be back in season and looks forward to beating the UNCG squad next time! Come support Elon Women’s Club Soccer at 3pm this Sunday, the 21st!
