Elon University’s chapter of the Public Relations Student Society of America kicked-off its 2014-2015 chapter meetings Sept. 25.

About 45 students attended the PRSSA meeting, where they were joined by Marianne Brigola, assistant director of Career Services for the School of Communications, who discussed how they might use LinkedIn strategically in their internship and job searches, and for networking purposes.

After Brigola’s presentation, PRSSA members also heard from PRSSA’s officers about the benefits of being part of Elon’s chapter, the opportunities to blog and support student organizations on campus with their public relations efforts, and how to get involved as PRSSA’s leaders in the future.
