Dear colleagues and friends,

I am pleased to share Elon University’s 2014 President’s Report, which includes a sampling of the impressive scholarship pursued by Elon faculty and students. This report details the work of eight Elon teacher-scholars, as well as eight students, many of whom are winners of the Lumen Prize, Elon’s premier award given annually to 15 students who pursue exceptional academic research during their junior and senior years.

The President’s Report also includes a timeline of 2013-14 milestones, which featured celebrations and events commemorating the university’s 125th anniversary year.

Elon University continues to build its national reputation, guided by the Elon Commitment strategic plan. I invite you to explore the 2014 President’s Report to learn more about the ways Elon is setting an example of excellence as the nation’s preeminent university for global engaged learning.
