Communications associate professor pens piece about Notre Dame's history with the ACC.
The South Bend Tribune published a guest column by Elon University School of Communications associate professor Daniel M. Haygood Oct. 18, coinciding with the much-anticipated Notre Dame vs. Florida State football game.

Haygood’s sport media history column explained an interesting connection between Notre Dame football and ACC basketball, long before Notre Dame joined the ACC and committed to an annual slate of ACC football opponents.
