Taizé Worship in Numen Lumen at 8:15 p.m. on Nov 12
Please join us on Wednesday, Nov. 12, for contemplative prayer and worship in the tradition of the Taizé Community in Taizé, France. This worship is ecumenical and part of a global movement of young people, active on many college campuses, bringing diverse Christians together through simple praise choruses, contemplative prayer, silence, scripture, and candle-lighting.

The woship is co-sponsored and organized by students from ONE Christian Worship, Catholic Campus Ministry, Presbyterian Student Fellowship, LEAF (Lutherans, Episcopalians, and Friends), Baptist Associated Ministries, and Methodist Fellowship.

Taizé Prayer often seeks both personal and social renewal. This week we will focus our prayers on those struggling in Alamance County with hunger or homelessness in anticipation of the Kernodle Center’s Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week (Nov. 17–21). We are also encouraging community members to contribute a coat, blanket, or warm clothing to a campus clothing drive organized by Baptist Associate Ministries. Bring your donation to the worship or contact Alec French for more info.

This is part of ONE’s regular 30-minute Wednesday Worship Break. ONE is a collaboration of Christian ministries at Elon, welcoming everyone, appreciating our diversity, celebrating our unity in Christ. ONE is organized by Joel Harter, Associate Chaplain for Protestant Life.
