Warm Clothing Drive for Allied Churches

Truitt Center Religious Groups & Kernodle Center collecting warm clothing through Nov. 21

Donate gently used and new coats, sweaters, sweatshirts, blankets, XL twin sheets, and any item of warm clothing to the Alamance County Allied Churches Homeless Shelter.

November 4-21, bins for donated items will be located in:

  • Numen Lumen Pavilion
  • Koury Athletics
  • 2nd Floor Koury HHP Offices
  • Koury Business Center KoBC 106
  • Campus Recreation Commons Area
  • Hillel House & CCM Newman Center

BBQ Event – Nov 14
On Friday, November 14 from 5:00 – 7:30 p.m. in Moseley Kitchen (Room 106), donate an item of warm clothing, or make a monetary donation to Allied Churches, and receive a free barbecue sandwich or veggie burger.

Taizé Worship – Nov 12
Join us for contemplative Taizé Worship on Wednesday, November 12 at 8:15 p.m. in the Sacred Space at Numen Lumen Pavilion.  30-minute worship with song, contemplative prayer, silence, and candlelight. Bring your coat or warm clothing donation. Our prayers this week will be focused on those who are hungry and homeless in our wider community.  Worship led by students from Catholic Campus Ministry, LEAF, Presbyterian Student Fellowship, One in Christ, and Baptist Associate Ministries.
