M.S. in Management program will enroll first class in August 2015

Elon University announces an accelerated, full-time program with concentrations in corporate communications and organizational analytics.

Elon’s Master of Science in Management program is operated in partnership with the university’s nationally ranked MBA and communications programs. Students will master key principles of business, accounting, finance and marketing, with a focus in one of the specialties that interests them the most — organizational analytics or corporate communications.

The 33 credit hour program is appropriate for all students, regardless of their undergraduate degree. It is especially suited to recent graduates, and early-career and transitioning professionals. Two foundation courses are taken during the summer, followed by 11 graduate courses during fall, winter and spring terms. The program can be completed in less than a year, but also provides a flexible part-time option for working professionals.

The full-time program enrolls the first class in August 2015.
“The M.S. in Management is a great program for people who know where they want to go but need specialized skills to get there,” says Bill Burpitt, associate dean of the Love School of Business, program director and professor of management. “We provide those skills, along with a solid foundation in business fundamentals and accelerated training in two fields that are in high demand.”

Graduates will demonstrate the skills and tools necessary to compete and succeed in an ever-changing global business world. Throughout the 10-month program, students will apply what they learn in the classroom to real world scenarios. A capstone practicum provides the opportunity to work with companies such as SAS, Hanes, VF, Wells Fargo, IBM and Fidelity.
