Elon MBA Program Opens Location in Research Triangle Park

Elon’s nationally ranked part-time MBA program offers students the option to complete their degree on Elon’s campus, in Research Triangle Park or a combination of both locations.

Beginning this fall, courses and electives will be offered at The Solution Center, a corporate meeting facility located off the Page Road exit of Interstate 40 in Research Triangle Park.

The RTP location will offer Elon MBA courses and electives so that students can complete the entirety of their degree at The Solution Center. Classes will be offered in a face-to-face classroom setting by the same Elon faculty who teach on campus. The emphasis remains on small class sizes, engaged learning and a focus on the transfer of course content to practical application.

The Solution Center includes a cafe that is stocked with coffee, tea, soft drinks and light snacks available at no cost to MBA students. There are several small offices to make a phone call or meet in a small group. Students have access to wireless Internet and to print and copy resources.

Classes at The Solution Center will follow the same schedule as those on the Elon campus, with 10-week classes scheduled for fall, winter, spring and two 5-week summer sessions. Classes meet one night per week. Students can move through the program at their own pace, if they choose in as little as 21 months start-to-finish.

“We’re excited to offer this additional location so that our students have the flexibility to complete their degree at Elon or in the rapidly expanding RTP area,” said Raghu Tadepalli, dean of the Martha and Spencer Love School of Business. “Elon’s presence in RTP provides professionals in the Triangle all of the benefits of our nationally ranked part-time MBA program with the added convenience of completing their degree in the same area where they live and work.”

Bloomberg Businessweek ranks Elon the #1 part-time MBA program in the South and #5 in the nation, with the top scores in student satisfaction, post-MBA outcomes and A+ grades in teaching quality and curriculum. The Princeton Review ranks Elon the nation’s #1 “best administered” business school and also ranks Elon among the top business schools in the Southeast in its 2015 edition of the “Best 296 Business Schools.”
