ABA webinar on lawyers as agents of change – Nov. 16

During this month's ABA Free CLE Series, join members of the Elon Law community to explore the role of lawyers and the judiciary as a participant in resolving social conflicts. 

“From Montgomery to Ferguson and Baltimore, Lawyers as Agents of Change: The Role of the Law in the Long Arc of Justice” is a free CLE webinar that will take place Monday, November 16 from 1:00 to 2:35 pm. The webinar will be in the Elon Law computer lab on the lower level of the library. 

All current students and members of the Elon Law community are invited to attend. Light refreshments will be served. 

RSVP is needed by Monday, Nov. 16 at 10 am to Monica Glover. 

Speakers include: Nicole Austin-Hillery, Director and Counsel for The Brennan Center For Justice; Sheila Y. Thomas, Attorney at the Law Offices of Sheila Thomas; and Stephen F. Hanlon, Adjunct Professor at Saint Louis University School of Law.
