Jeffrey Carpenter & Scott Morrison host webinar series on use of Twitter in teacher education

The assistant professors of education led a three-part webinar series for the American Association of Colleges of Teacher Education.

Assistant Professors of Education Jeffrey Carpenter and Scott Morrison, along with colleague Michael Maher from North Carolina State University, hosted three webinars regarding the use of Twitter in teacher education.

The group was invited to host the webinars by the American Association of Colleges of Teacher Education (AACTE) after a presentation at the 2015 AACTE Annual Conference titled “Using Twitter to Market and Promote the Profession.”

Carpenter, Morrison and Maher led earlier webinars in July and September, and completed the series on Nov. 5 with a webinar titled, “Educator Preparation Programs Taking Twitter to the Next Level.” The recording of that webinar is available here. Recordings of the first two webinars can be found here.
