'T-Shirt' short film screening and discussion – April 21

On Thursday, April 21, "T-Shirt", a student made narrative short film, will be screening in the Global Commons Media Room from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.

As part of Sexual Assault Awareness Month, Elon senior Jennie Hook shares her experiences with relationship and sexual violence through her short film “T-Shirt”. The film will be followed by a discussion about ways to recognize violence in relationships and resources to cope with it.

There will be a Coffee Klatch following the event for those who want to continue the discussion with light refreshments. The event is sponsored by Elon Health Promotion.

The short film “T-Shirt” depicts brief instances of violence, sexual abuse and strong language. Viewer discretion is advised, as this content is not suitable for all audiences.
