Professor of Music Thomas Erdmann had his review of Hilary Field’s recording of world premiere compositions, Premieres, published in the Spring 2016 issue of WomenArts Quarterly Journal. A consummate classical guitarist, Field has held teaching positions as Head of the Guitar Department at both Seattle Pacific University and Pacific Lutheran University. A past winner of the Northwest Young Artist Series Competition and first guitar winner of the Francis Walton Soloist Competition, her debut recording, Music of Spain and Latin America, was an award winner for Classical Album of the Year by the National Association of Independent Record Distributors.
