Wednesday, May 18

  • Senior Class Picnic with Faculty and Staff – noon at the Sacred Groves at Martin Alumni Center.
  • Senior Gala – 8 p.m. at McKinnon Hall in Moseley Center

​Thursday, May 19

  • African American Commencement Reception – 5 p.m. at the Sacred Groves at Martin Alumni Center
  • Master of Arts in Interactive Media Commencement – 7 p.m., Whitley Auditorium

​Friday, May 20

  • ROTC Commissioning Ceremony – 11 a.m., Holt Chapel, South Campus
  • Receptions for graduates and their families – 1:30 p.m., various campus locations (see Commencement website)
  • Baccalaureate – 3 p.m., Alumni Gymnasium, featuring an address by Retired N.C. Supreme Court Chief Justice Henry E. Frye
  • Celebration of Leaders for the Twenty-First Century – 5 p.m., Great Hall, Global Neighborhood
  • Legacy Reception for graduates and their alumni parents, grandparents and siblings – 5 p.m., Sacred Groves at Martin Alumni Center
  • Master of Business Administration Commencement – 7 p.m., Whitley Auditorium

Saturday, May 21

  • Continental Breakfast – 7:30 a.m., MacMahon Terrace, Inman Admissions Welcome Center
  • Gradautes assemble in Alumni Gym – 8 a.m.
  • 126th Undergraduate Commencement – 9:15 a.m., Scott Plaza/Young Commons (See Commencement website for rain location information), featuring an address by David Gergen, senior political analyst for CNN, and co-director of the Center for Public Leadership at the Harvard Kennedy School
  • Reception for graduates – following Commencement, Under the Oaks
  • School of Law Commencement – 6 p.m., Scott Plaza/Young Commons, featuring an address by Judge Albert Diaz of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit
