Volunteers needed to help people with diabetes

Seeking people between the ages of 20 and 60 both with and without diabetes  who can come to sessions for an hour and a half.

We are creating new technology to help people with Type 2 diabetes heal chronic ulcers by increasing blood flow. This is being accomplished by heating up the limb and applying non painful, mild, electrical stimulation.

Volunteers need to be between the ages of 20 and 60 both with and without diabetes. Sessions last 1 1/2 hours. If you wish to volunteer, you will sit still as we place a boot on your leg and take measurements of temperature and blood flow. We will be making appointments from now until July 20. To set up an appointment or if you have any questions email awenz@elon.edu.
