Eaves weighed in on the impact of presidential debates like the one Monday night between Democrat Hillary Clinton and Republican Donald Trump on the decisions to be made by undecided voters. In North Carolina, about 6 percent of voters are undecided about who they will vote for in the Nov. 8 presidential election, the most recent Elon University Poll found

“In terms of swaying voters — Hillary Clinton voters still like Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump voters still like Donald Trump,” Eaves told WFMY when asked about the impact of debate performances. “It probably does impact a few of those undecided (voters). We see that impact really at the margins.”
