Music theatre alumni perform at Theatre Orb in Tokyo

Ginna Claire Mason '13 and Adam Kaplan '12 perform alongside Broadway vets in concert in Tokyo, Japan

Elon music theatre alumni Ginna Claire Mason ’13 and Adam Kaplan ’12 are traveling this week to Japan to perform alongside numerous Broadway vets in a New Year’s concert at Theatre Orb in Tokyo.

Mason and Kaplan are performing with Teal Wicks (Wicked, Finding Neverland), Robert Marien (Les Miserables), Matt Laurent and Howard McGillin (Anything Goes, Phantom of the Opera).

Kaplan is fresh off of the National Tour of “Kinky Boots,” in which he starred as Charlie Price. Other recent credits include “Newsies” on Broadway and “Showboat” with the NY Philharmonic. Mason is currently the Glinda standby in “Wicked” on Broadway. Other recent credits include the National Tours of “Newsies” and “Flashdance,” along with the Las Vegas Premiere of “Duck Commander Musical.”
