The March 1 contest marks the first time in the program's Division I era that the team can claim the regular season title outright with a win.
For the first time during the program’s Division I era, the Elon University women’s basketball team will play for an outright conference title when the Phoenix hosts UNCW on Wednesday, March 1, at 7 p.m. With a win, Elon wins the Colonial Athletic Association Regular Season title outright.
Admission to the game is $8 for adults and $5 for youth ages 12 and under. Elon students receive FREE admission to the game.
Elon enters Wednesday’s game with an overall record of 23-6, including a league-best 15-2 mark against CAA foes. The team has won 10 of its last 11 games overall leading into Wednesday’s game against the Seahawks.
