Norfolk Southern Railroad will be working on the railroad crossing at Oak Street (by the Magnolia Cemetery) starting at 9 a.m. on Monday, April 10.
If you come to campus on Oak Street, allow at least 10 minutes extra time to navigate the detour. Detour signs will be in place through the Town of Elon in the morning. The work is planned to be completed by late Monday afternoon.
When the crossing gates are closed, do NOT try to walk across the crossing areas where work is being conducted. It is not safe.
