Sayag, who graduated in 2011, is a third-grade teacher at McDougle Elementary School in Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools.
Natalie Sayag ’11 has been named one of Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools’ Teachers of the Year for 2017-18.
Sayag received her bachelor’s in elementary education and then completed her master’s in K-12 literacy at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is a third grade teacher at McDougle Elementary School and will be honored later this month at the district’s annual Recognition Reception.
The District Teacher of the Year and two honor teachers will be announced at the reception.
