UPDATE 7 A.M.: Elon to open at 10 a.m. on main campus. Elon Law on normal schedule.

Light snow and cold temperatures have created slippery conditions in the Elon campus area. Physical Plant staff worked overnight to clear sidewalks and put down salt. Roads are passable but caution is advised when walking or driving because there are slippery spots, especially on side roads. Those driving to campus are encouraged to use main highways when possible and use Williamson Avenue and University Drive when entering campus.

​Due to the inclement weather, Elon’s main campus will operate on a delayed schedule Thursday, as follows:

• Classes on main campus will begin at 10 a.m.
• University offices open at 10 a.m., except for the offices noted below.
• Emergency personnel will be notified by supervisor when to report to campus.
• Elon University School of Law in Greensboro will operate on a normal schedule.

UNDERGRADUTE CLASS SCHEDULE

Regular schedule: 8:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
Revised schedule: 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Regular schedule: 1:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Revised schedule: 1:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Regular evening class schedule 

Faculty and staff who live some distance from campus and who might be prevented from safely traveling to campus should notify their respective dean (faculty) or supervisor (staff). Students who might be prevented from traveling safely should contact their professors.
