In “Speed Teaching” – a creative blend of pedagogy and “speed dating” – a handful of faculty from across the university will quickly introduce a technique for facilitating student collaboration and interdependence. Research tells us interdependence is a component of many engaged teaching strategies, and occurs in contexts such as group work, collaborative assignments, and peer critique or assessment. Session participants will have the chance to learn about and discuss multiple techniques – without having to make a commitment to any one of them.
