She became interested in career advising while working at her graduate assistantship where she supervised student employees. In her spare time, Taylor enjoys writing, reading, coloring, and discovering new music and restaurants. Brock is excited to explore Elon and become part of the SPDC team.
Ricky Patterson is originally from the small town of Due West, South Carolina. He graduated with a bachelor of science in public health from the College of Charleston. After a gap year of working in sports broadcasting with Clemson University Athletics, Patterson continued his education at Appalachian State University. While at Appalachian, he obtained a master of arts in college student development with a concentration in Student Affairs. While working in Academic Services for Student-Athletes at Appalachian, he developed a passion for career development.
Patterson enjoys watching movies of all genres (except horror) and reading books about history and theology. He also loves watching sports, especially basketball. Ricky is thrilled to join Elon’s SPDC team and helping Elon students think about their next steps.
