Joyce Davis, professor of exercise science, presented research on the Effects of Foot Position on Ground Reaction Forces at the 28th annual International Association for Dance Medicine and Science (IADMS) Conference in Helsinki, Finland.
The mission of IADMS is to enhance health, well-being, training, and performance in dance by cultivating medical, scientific, and educational excellence. Lauren Kearns (professor of dance and chair of the Department of Performing Arts) and Matthew Wittstein (assistant professor of exercise science) were also presenters at the conference along with Exercise Science alumnae Corinne Kenny ’17 and Emma Faulkner ’09.
