Guitar Instructor Chip Newton took part in a guitar workshop hosted by internationally recognized musicians, Martin Taylor and Peppino D'Agostino.
Guitar instructor Chip Newton participated in a four-day workshop with multi-award winning jazz guitarist Martin Taylor, Jan. 17-20, 2019. This gathering was held in Benicia, California, and included lessons, concerts, and jam sessions with guitarists from the U.S. and Canada. Co-led by fingerstyle virtuoso and recording artist, Peppino D'Agostino, the weekend included concerts on Saturday and Sunday evenings.
Newton performed guitar duets with Taylor on the Saturday concert, and played with Mr. D'Agostino in his Friday workshop. In addition to the wonderful evenings of music, all of the attendees enjoyed fine gourmet cuisine catered by local restaurants and the beautiful scenery of the nearby San Francisco Bay.
